Privacy Policy
Effective 4 October 2026
Certified Leads Group is a business name of 2691060 Alberta Corporation, based in Alberta, Canada. This policy covers certifiedleadsgroup.com, the site where renovation contractors apply for an exclusive territory.
Our consumer brands, such as Edmonton Kitchen Pros and Winnipeg Basement Pros, collect information from homeowners and each publishes its own privacy policy. This policy does not cover those sites.
The short version. We collect what you type into the application and what your browser sends when it loads a page. There are no advertising pixels, no analytics trackers and no tracking cookies on this site. We do not sell your information, and applying does not sign you up for text messages.
What we collect
When you complete the territory check or the application form, you give us:
- Contact details — your name, business name, email address and phone number.
- The territory and trade you are asking about.
- Business figures you choose to share — your average job size, target margin, how many extra jobs a month you could take, your close rate on estimates, who handles your estimates, how quickly you respond to a lead, and when you could start.
We also keep correspondence you send us, and our server records ordinary technical information for every visit: IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested and the time of the request.
Information stored on your own device
The territory check saves your answers in your browser's local storage so a reload does not lose your progress, and it remembers that you dismissed the on-page notification for the rest of your visit. That data stays on your device, is not transmitted to us by that mechanism, and clearing your browser data removes it. None of it is used for advertising.
Booking a call
When your application is accepted you are offered a calendar to book a call. That calendar is our own scheduling system at book.certifiedleadsgroup.com, embedded in the page. We pre-fill it with the name, email and answers you just gave us so you do not type them twice, and loading it sets cookies for that subdomain so the booking works. It is our system, not a third-party booking service, and the information goes to us.
Fonts
Our typefaces are served by Google Fonts. Loading a page therefore makes your IP address visible to Google, in the same way it is visible to any site you load a file from. Google's handling of that request is governed by its own privacy policy.
How we use it
- To assess whether your business and territory are a fit.
- To contact you about your application and to prepare a proposal.
- To size that proposal using the figures you gave us.
- If you become a partner, to deliver leads and administer the agreement.
- To keep our own records, and to meet legal and tax obligations.
How we contact you
We reply to applications by phone and email. The application form does not enrol you in text messaging. We do not add applicants to automated or marketing text messages without separate express consent, and if you do give that consent you can withdraw it at any time by replying STOP.
Who we share it with
We share information with service providers who run parts of our operation on our behalf — hosting, email delivery, customer records, telephony and payment processing — and only so far as they need it to provide that service. They are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
We keep applications while they are under consideration and afterwards as a business record, including where a territory was not available at the time and may open later. Partner records are kept for as long as the agreement runs and then for the period our tax and legal obligations require. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw your consent to our use of it. Write to [email protected] and we will respond. If you are not satisfied with our answer you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections and restricted access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
